It's partly my fault since I didn't read the description closely enough, but this is more of a strategy guide than a practice book. It only has a few test exercises and the rest is theory. In the end, I think students learn more from actually practicing problems than reading about them.
I found the guide very helpful and it showed me "tricks" I had not seen before. For example, watch the adjective used to help figure out the missing word - very cool!
I think this book was quite helpful. It's straightforward and very easy to read. I do hope that I will ace the PSAT (I'm a junior currently). It is a must-buy for anyone hoping to do well on the PSAT!
This is a beta version of the eventual product. The answer key had errors and needs editing. I contacted the publisher and requested an update or date when version 2.0 will become available. Nothing in the pipelone. Too bad. Good intention, but save your money and skip this one.

I have been teaching PSAT, SAT, ACT and SAT2 over 20 years, and this book is the worst prep book I ever saw.Reading it is even a wasting time.The author didn't realized the changes of new PSAT at all.
