This is an excellent book. Just be prepared to supplement the lessons with online material from youtube, etc., lessons from an instructor, or something of the like. The book does make it EZ, however, if it has been a decade or so since going over more difficult concepts, you may need some extra help to fill in the gaps. There are a few pages of practice problems after each section, which helps cement in the concepts of the chapters, however, the answer key does not give you the work to the problems. So, be prepared to figure out on your own where you went wrong. As with most things, you get out what you put in. I was very pleased with my purchase.
Here's the thing about this book...it teaches you from the ground up to bring you up to speed and is wonderful for doing that!The only problem is that there are an amazing amount of incorrect answers in the back that I found it quite frustrating when I tried to verify I was 'getting' the conceptsI really wish someone would create a edited version of this book as I would buy that!

This book suck! It's more of a story book than a calcus book
It sums up precalculus material pretty well, but if you're looking for in depth content this is not your go to book.
This book came in pretty good condition. It was used and a little torn up, but for the price it was okay.
My teen-aged son used this book for Pre-Calc and was able to maintain As in the class
I'm a retiree and I'm in no rush to complete any section so with taking my time with this review I find it to be an excellent book.
