I was looking for a book that taught about Paul. This book doesn't do that. Each chapter gives a situation in history and then has you read a section in the Bible that relates, a section that includes Paul. I'm discouraged about the book's title - Paul, his life and teaching. This book is simply a Bible study like you might have in Sunday school.
Am only part way into the studies, but so far have found it to be a helpful guide in relating Scripture to application for a Christian in today's world. Good, insightful questions by the writer.
My Adult Sunday School class is enjoying this study. It allows us to go as deep as we want into the life of Paul.
